Bellewstown racecourse
On the hill of Crockafotha in County Meath, this course is beautifully situated in a rural setting with magnificent views of the Mountains of Mourne to the north and the Irish Sea to the east. It can be found just off the main Dublin to Belfast road and is 23 miles north of Dublin and seven miles south of Drogheda
It is left-handed and about a mile and a half in circumference with a furlong straight. Racing first took place in February 1859.
