Fairyhouse racecourse
The Irish Grand National takes pride of place during a four-day Easter meeting with other quality races including the Powers Gold Cup. The first meeting was in 1848 when the Ward Union Hunt held their point-to-point while the National was first run in 1870.
The course itself is right-handed, relatively flat and is 1m 6f in length. It is 23km from Dublin city centre, just off the N3 or the N2 via Ratoath.

| Flat: | A right-handed circular track of over 1m 6f with minor undulations and a slight uphill finish, there are chutes for 6f and 7f races. |
| Jumps: | A right-handed, wide, good galloping, square-shaped undulating course 2m round with very fair fences. |
