Kenilworth racecourse

As the oldest racecourse in the country Kenilworth is steeped in tradition and history. Situated in a suburb of Cape Town the course is ideally situated and has long been a favourite venue among South Africans' and overseas visitors alike

The course has three separate tracks with the undulating six furlong straight track acknowledged as the stiffest sprint track in the country. Of the two round courses the 'old' track is used through autumn and winter racing and the 'new' track, on which the J&B Met is run, one of the feature races of the season, is 1m 6f around.
