Yarmouth racecourse
Based close to Newmarket, Yarmouth is well-attended by trainers from racing's headquarters, who often send their two-year-olds to the Norfolk seaside resort for valuable experience.
Being a flat, galloping track, long-striding horses are particularly well-suited to the test this 13-furlong course offers. The three-day Eastern Meeting in September is the season's main fixture, the feature race being the Listed mile and a quarter John Musker Stakes.
