Officials at Catterick have called an inspection for 1pm today ahead of tomorrow's meeting.
Clerk of the course Fiona Needham reports the track to be frozen in places at present and will assess conditions later.
She said: "Temperatures dropped to minus 3C last night but it didn't start to freeze until after midnight so it doesn't seem too bad. We thought we'd take a look at around tomorrow's first race time and see where we are."
Needham added: "We are forecast minus 4C or 5C overnight but the forecast has been wrong for most of the week and it would depend on what cloud cover there was."
