Tuesday's meeting at Sedgefield and Wednesday's at Carlisle are subject to inspections on Monday, with the courses currently frozen.
Officials at Sedgefield, which is under two to three inches of snow, are pinning their hopes on the prospect of a rise in temperatures.
"We're going to inspect at 12.30pm on Monday. Some forecasts are saying it is going to get warmer, so we'll know better at 12.30pm rather than 9am," said clerk of the course Phil Tuck.
"We've got two to three inches of snow on the track though, so it will need to warm up pretty quick to thaw it all."
A 2pm inspection has been called for Monday at Carlisle, with snow on top of the frozen surface. Temperatures have dipped to as low as minus 7C at the Cumbrian venue.
Acting clerk of the course Kirkland Tellwright said: "We're going to inspect at 2pm. The problem really is frost rather than snow. There has been two very keen frosts which has got right into the ground. If it's no better by 2pm, then we'll have a good idea."
