Officials at Hereford have made an early decision to abandon Sunday's National Hunt meeting due to a frozen track.
Clerk of the course Keith Ottesen had called an inspection for 11.30am this morning but following a heavy overnight frost, he sees little point in delaying the inevitable.
He said: "We had an improvement yesterday as the rain had helped a lot of the frost come out of the ground, but it got down to minus 6C overnight and the course is frozen again now."
Ottesen went on: "We couldn't have abandoned on Friday as forecasts can be wrong, but we were forecast a cold night and that is what we got.
"Temperatures could get down to minus 2C tonight and there is just no way the course will recover in time."
