James Given reports Dandino to be in good nick ahead of his run in the Ladbrokes St Leger at Doncaster on Saturday.
The three-year-old has not run since finishing a staying-on head second to Rebel Soldier in the Gordon Stakes at Goodwood at the end of July, having won his four previous races, and is a top-priced 8-1 for the Town Moor Classic.
Given, speaking from Turkey after watching Indian Days take the International Bosphorus Cup at Veliefendi, said: "It could be a big week. I hope I'm still smiling at four o'clock on Saturday."
He went on: "All is very well with Dandino. Paul (Mulrennan) says he's in great shape. He worked with Indian Days last week and beat him, but it wasn't serious work.
"There are a few butterflies. The last 24 hours have been about today but I'm heading home at four o'clock English time in the morning and left Lincolnshire at one o'clock on Sunday morning.
"I want to spend as much time with the horse as I can, but I've got to be in London for the St Leger lunch in the morning."
