David Lanigan's Meeznah will face 11 rivals as she bids to open her Pattern-race account in the DFS Park Hill Stakes at Doncaster on Thursday.
Since a hugely impressive display in a Newmarket maiden back in May, the three-year-old has finished a neck second in the Oaks at Epsom, fourth in the Irish equivalent and fourth in the Yorkshire Oaks.
She drops down in grade to Group Two company but up in trip to one mile six and a half furlongs this time.
The sole Irish participant is the John Oxx-trained Roses For The Lady, who has yet to rediscover the form that saw her chase home Sariska in last year's Irish Oaks.
"I'm glad they've had some rain as she does like some cut in the ground and any ease in the ground will help her chance. The distance should suit her well and it's the obvious race for her," the trainer told At The Races.
"She's had three runs this year. She won a Listed race at Navan on firm ground, which was a relief, because I didn't think she'd handle it.
"She then ran well behind Tactic on what was also pretty firm ground, but her last run behind Rajik wasn't as good as she got very worked up before the race and pulled too hard down to the start.
"She was beaten before the gates went up, but if she stays calmer this time I think she could run better."
Other interesting contenders include Mark Tompkins' Brushing, a winner at York last month, Marcus Tregoning's talented filly Rumoush and John Gosden's Dyna Waltz.
